We are so excited to welcome you to Happy House, conveniently located on the southside of desirable 30A! From here you are walking distance or a short bike ride to the sugar white sands and turquoise waters of the Emerald Coast.
Nestled in the quaint neighborhood of Old Florida Cottages, our 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people. On the first floor you’ll find the master suite with a private bathroom, and two guest rooms with a hall bath. On the second floor, the fully-equipped kitchen features granite countertops and a breakfast bar, opening to the spacious dining and living area with access to the large porch! The fourth bedroom is also on the second floor with a queen bed and full bath. On the third floor is a twin bunkroom with access to the balcony and beautiful views of the Gulf. A private full-sized washer and dryer is available for your convenience, and in the Old Florida Cottages Community you have access to the community pool with gas grills. The community pool is heated during off season.

And although we know you could easily spend your days soaking up the Florida rays, there is plenty more for you to do and explore in the area! Visit Gulf Place and enjoy the local shops and fantastic restaurants. Gulf Place is the ideal place for people who love live music. Take advantage of the free bike rental and explore the trails and authentic beach neighborhoods of South Walton. Grab a cup of coffee at Sunrise Coffee Co., and a quick lunch at Pizza by the Sea or The Perfect Pig. Shunk Gulley offers fresh Gulf seafood and a mouthwatering menu with incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico.
Our housekeeping staff ensures a clean and disinfected environment before your arrival (including countertop surfaces, light switches, remotes, etc). All towels, linens, comforters, etc. are stripped and removed from property and replaced with freshly laundered linens at every checkout.
It is important to us that you feel right at home when staying here at Happy House. We know your stay with us will be a relaxing and memorable experience for you and your family!

**Cancelation Policy***
Reservations may be cancelled by either party “You” or “Beach Life Vacation Company” by notifying either party in writing at least ninety (90) calendar days prior to your Check-In date (“Cancellation Period”).* In such instances, the full amount of your advance payment will be refunded less 5% cancellation fee plus all administrative fees and charges. If you cancel a stay or a portion of a stay after the Cancellation Period, you will be responsible for the full amount of the total booking charges with no refund. No discount to the total booking charges or any refunds will be given for any adjustments or changes to your reservation after the Cancellation Period for any reason, including late arrivals, early departures, inclement weather, maintenance and/or housekeeping issues, failure, outages or noise. Beach Life Vacation Company reserves the right to correct or adjust rates to the published rates on a reservation if the rates have been misquoted due to human and/or computer error. We cannot be responsible for weather related and or personal emergency issues affecting travel including COVID-19.

Location is everything and it's great to be a very short walk down to the beach, as well as up to 30-A for several dining options. Overall we were quite happy with this listing and would rent it again in the future.
Some minor notes: bring your own coffee filters as none are stocked (at this price level it would be lovely if they did stock at least a few to get you started on day one). There's no house manual on site so pay attention to details/instructions on the online listing. You'll be invited to download the DACK app for information, etc. and there's a separate rental agreement to sign as well off of Airbnb's site. I generally prefer to do all my communication and everything on Airbnb vs. being guided off to a 3rd party platform -- so the host company did accommodate that and send me info via messages on Airbnb after I requested it. Indeed, they respond quickly to questions and are friendly, so that put me at ease.
Again, overall I would rent this house again. 🙂

Great location to the beach!
Lots of rooms and kitchen was good!!!
It was just dusty - like no one had been there in a long while. I dusted some because we have allergies. The house could use a deep cleaning (baseboards, wipe off railings, clean oven, etc…). Even my kids mentioned it being dirty.
The first night we were there my son came to get me to tell me there was a noise in his room. It was raining and water was dripping in window seal - so much that we had to put towels down. The next morning my child that was in a different room had towels in their window seals too (they had just not told me). We made sure the water was cleaned up..but it needs repair. The house needs some TLC. It’s beautiful but could use some extra care.

We had a great stay! It is a short walk to the beach which is very convenient. The loft on the 3rd level is an extra bonus that allowed us to spread out. We appreciated the credit for umbrellas and lounge chairs. Host was very responsive if we had any questions. And they went hot if their way to make sure we had a pack and play and high chair for our kids.

This house is a short walk from the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. One thing to be cautious of, the balcony spindles are very loose and one is even missing. If you have small children do not let them lean on it. This needs to be fixed immediately because it is a big safety issue.
